Submitting Journal articles

The Editor welcomes the submission of articles and personal reflections on, or memories of John Buchan, his work and his life. Articles in any relevant field are welcome.

Articles are typically around 2,500 words, but may be anywhere between 200 and 5,000 words. Longer articles will usually require a bibliography and end notes to validate sources – for how to set these out, please see the current issue. When submitting, please also consider how your article might be illustrated.

Articles should ideally be typed into a Word document and e-mailed to the Editor. The Editor reserves full right to edit, abbreviate, and if necessary have refereed all material submitted to the Journal for publication. The Editor’s decision about what is published is final.
